| Windows 95 and NT4 Users |
If you do not have Explorer 4 or above installed, please download it from Microsoft before using a MindManual, or transfer the MindManual to a Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows ME system.
If you use a MindManual on a system which does not have Internet Explorer 4 installed, you will see an error message when the MindManual is launched. |

| Windows 3.1 or Other Platforms |
All our products require a 32-bit Microsoft Windows platform. Unfortunately we do not currently offer products for any of the following:
- Windows emulation packages*
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or 3.11
- Any version of Apple MacOS
- Any variant of Unix or Linux
- Microsoft Windows CE or PocketPC
- Any version of PalmOS
- Any version of EPOC
- Any version of MS-DOS

| Do I need to enter my name and E-mail? |
To help you to get the most from your download, we can send you an E-mail giving you instructions on installing and getting started with your MindManual. To receive this mail, enter your name and E-mail address. This E-mail also helps you if there was a problem with the download. We may also send you a follow-up mail in a week or two, to make sure that everything worked correctly and that you found the download useful. If you don't want this introductory mail, just leave the boxes blank.
You can choose to join the MindManuals Newsletter at the same time, to keep in touch with new products and special offers. You can leave the Newsletter at any time.
Your name and E-mail are used by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy which is published in the main site pages. |

| Why doesn't the Download button work? |
If you enter your name and E-mail address to receive the Getting Started mail, or if you check the Newsletter option, then- you must give your name,
- your E-mail address must contain the "@" and "." characters and no spaces, and
- you must give the same address twice as a check, to ensure that your E-mail is correctly delivered.
If you don't want to receive the Getting Started mail, then leave all boxes blank. |

| Storing downloaded files |
| Do not change the name of the downloaded file, otherwise you will get an error message when you try to install it. Choose a convenient location such as a temporary folder or the Desktop to store the file when you download it. You can move it to another location later. |

| All our downloads are scanned for known viruses at the time of manufacture. We strongly recommend that users also take their own measures to protect their system. |

| Finding the file after download |
Not sure where you stored the file during download? Click on the Windows Start button, choose Find, select Files or Folders, and type the name of the downloaded file in the Named box. If you use Windows Explorer or Start/Run to browse to the file, remember that the .exe extension may be hidden on your system, and you may just see the first part of the filename. |

| Installing after download |
| To install the software after download, either use the Start/Run menu or find the file and double-click on it. |

| Problems with downloads |
If you are experiencing problems with your download, try our FTP server instead: ftp://ftp.mindmanuals.com
If your Internet connection is interrupted during a transfer, the file you download may not be the right size. When you try to install it, you may get an error message from Windows. If this happens, the only solution is to try the download again. If your connection is not reliable, try using download management software such as GetRight from www.getright.com.

| Problems with installation |
If you get an error message when you try to install a MindManual, check the following:
- Check that the file size is exactly as shown in the Fact File. If it is different, then an error may have occurred during download, and you should try downloading again.
- Check that you have not re-named the file to something else. You should leave the filename as the original downloaded name, otherwise it will not install.
- Note that MindManuals will not currently work on Windows Emulation software.
