This enables extra functions and commands to be integrated into MindManager. This means you can tailor MindManager more to your needs, or make it interact with other software and information on your PC or corporate network. The utilities you find on MindManuals.com, such as PixelZoom and Textlet, are simple examples of what can be done. The problem is that as you add each new programme to MindManager, yet another command is added to the menus. Over time, your menus will fill up with commands that you don't use every day, or that are only relevant when you use MindManager for a particular kind of task. And if you want to send a map that depends on these special features to someone else, they have to install the same extra software too. MINDMACROS - BUILDING INTELLIGENCE INTO MINDMANAGER MAPS To make it easier to use and share MindManager customisations, MindManuals.com have created the MindMacros Platform. This free download adds the capability to place MindManager's scripting power INSIDE individual MindManager maps, rather than into MindManager's menus. So long as the user has the MindMacros Platform installed, the commands and programmes inside the Map can be actioned by a simple right-click on a branch or any map object. The MindMacro in the map then performs whatever it is programmed to do. CLIPS - RE-USEABLE INTELLIGENT BRANCHES To show how this increases productivity with MindManager, we have created Clip Maps, using MindMacros technology. Clips are hidden "map fragments" - branch structures and content inside a map. This includes symbols, codes, TextNotes and their formatting. To view, select and insert individual Clips, you simply run the Clips MindMacro, accessed by a simple right click on the branch where you want them. Clips are intelligent - they adapt to your map or other information. With an optional licence key, you can create your own Clips to use and distribute in your maps. Your colleagues will only need the MindMacros Platform to be installed to read and use your Clip maps (or any other maps that use MindMacros). PROJECT MANAGER CLIPS MAP - ACCELERATING PROJECT PLANNING When planning and managing projects, you often find that the same patterns of questions, issues and activities arise. To demonstrate MindMacros technology, we have created a free Project Manager Clips Map containing a toolbox of Clips for busy project managers who use MindManager. So rather than typing in the same branches from scratch, with the Project Manager Clips Map, they are right in the map ready for use at any time.
